- This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of DFARS PGI�206.302-1. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Program Office, PMA-201, Patuxent�River, Maryland, intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm�Fixed Price (FFP) Order on Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with The Boeing Company for the�design, support for all necessary airworthiness certifications, and delivery of assets to the USN�for the development of a universal hardback supporting BLU-137 qualification efforts. Contract�Award is anticipated for third quarter fiscal year (FY) 2024. This sources sought is published for informational purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A�REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). This requirement will be procured in accordance�with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy�agency requirements. As the sole designer and developer of the hardback, Boeing is the only�source that currently possessed sufficient requisite knowledge, engineering expertise, and�technical data required to perform these tasks. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: This notice of intent is not�a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible, interested parties may identify their�interest and capability by responding to this notice. The Government will consider all�information received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the�Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is�solely within the discretion of the Government. There are no commitments by the Government�to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies�expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned�above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government�to solicit for or award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted.
