- Notice Type: Notice of Contract Action � Kulite Pressure Transducers Justification, Statutory Authority: FAR 13.501(a) � 41 USC 1901- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Contract Award Date: TBD Contract Award Number: TBD Synopsis: �This is a Sole Source synopsis published for informational purposes only. The United States Air Force Test Center/Directorate of Contracting (AFTC/PZZE), Edwards AFB, CA intends to issue a sole source contract to Kulite Semiconductor Products, Inc., for their Miniature Pressure Transducer requirement. The contract will be executed by means of other than full and open competition, due to the need to maintain commonality, interoperability and compatibility with the current systems located at Edwards AFB already used by the JSE team. In order to comply with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the reason for lack of competition is as follows: The requested Kulite Miniature High-Pressure Transducers are currently utilized to support multiple Flight Test Missions of the 411 Test Wing/F-22, which is to �Test, Evaluate and Develop Weapon Systems to Deliver War Winning Capabilities to our Nation�s Combat Forces.� Kulite Miniature Pressure Transducers are critical components of this mission for performing complex data analysis and visualization on current and future projects. The Kulite HKM, LQ, XTE, XCS, and XST Miniature Pressure Transducer Series fulfill all necessary mission requirements as they are designed for ease of installation, and can operate in temperatures up to 525�F (273�C). In addition, these condition does not compromise their performances. They can handle a pressure range from 100PSI up a 10000 PSI, with an overpressure that ranges from 2 Times Rated Pressure to 1000 PSI (70 BAR) 1.5 Times Rated Pressure Above 1000 PSI to a Max. of 25000 PSI (1724 BAR), Any Liquid or Gas Compatible with 15-5 PH and 316 Stainless Steel or Inconel 625. Kulite Semiconductor Products, Inc. is the only unique source for this particular product. No Distributors have reported inventory for the following Part numbers: HKM-125GD-375-150A; HKM-125GD-375-1000A; LQ-125-25A; XTE-190L-50A; XCS-190L-10A; XTE-190S-50A; XST-190L-25A.
