- Description
- The Operational Contracting Division, Air Force Test Center, Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit,� negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the installation of a Marine Sunshade. This� acquisition is under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items,� and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only� solicitation; a quotation is being requested, and a written request for quotation will not be� issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) FA2823-23-Q-A025. The North� American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332311, with small� business size standard of 750 employees. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Offerors will be� evaluated on a best value determination basis IAW FAR 13.106-1(a)(2)(i) and the award will be made� to the quoter whose quote, conforming to the solicitation represents the best value to the� government, price and other factors considered. In no particular order of significance, the� following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes; technical capability of the service offered to� meet the government requirement, past performance and price. There will be no advance payments.� Please identify your business size in your response and also provide� persons of contact for similar previous work. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: Installation of a marine sunshade as defined in attached Performance Work Statement� dated 11 January 2023. QUOTE SUBMISSION: Quoters shall provide any necessary literature in order to determine technical� acceptability in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Quoters shall provide any� necessary documentation to verify past performance: Please provide persons of contact for similar� previous work. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: COMPLETED ON OR BEFORE 2 JUNE 2023 AWARD WILL BE MADE TO THE BEST VALUE� QUOTE. Please provide SAM UEID or CAGE Code. All quotes must be good for 60 days. Best Value Determination� will be used.Offerors must be registered in System Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible� for award. All vendors are encouraged to answer any questions ahead of time and all questions are� due by 2:00pm CST on 28 April 2023. All answers to questions will be posted to SAM by COB 2 May� 2023. If your company is capable of providing this service, pricing and any literature must be� received NLT 12:00 PM, Central Time on 5 May 2023. It is expected to have technical evaluations of� quotes completed by 10 May 2023 and it is expected to have this requirement awarded by COB 12 May� 2023.
