- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number 36C26223Q1025 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in conjunction with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. This solicitation intends to award this procurement to an active Small Business Vendor associated with NAICS Code 333415 Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing. The vendor must be registered and remain active in SAM.gov to be awarded. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to procure a Medical Refrigerator & Freezer Battery Backup, Standalone Silent Entry System or Equivalent for the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System. The offeror must demonstrate meeting the brand name requirement, and salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics specified in this solicitation; otherwise it will be considered non-responsive. The provided information is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality that will be satisfactory. The interested parties bear full responsibility to ensure their submission demonstrates to the government that they can provide the brand name equipment being requested. Delivery Requirements: Place of Delivery: Southern Arizona Healthcare System, 3601 S. 6th Avenue, Bldg. 14, Tucson, AZ 85723 Delivery Timeframe: All deliveries must be completed by 30 days from the date of the award. All lead time information must be specified in calendar days. Submission of Offers: All offeror quotes for this solicitation must be received electronically through email to Isaac Shimizu at Isaac.shimizu@va.gov no later than Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, 12:00 PM PT. Please reference solicitation number 36C26223Q1025 within the subject line of the email. Any offeror quotes received after the prescribed date/time shall be considered non-responsive and will not be considered for award. Offerors shall submit the following via email: Offerors shall fill out all unit price, total item cost, and net item cost conforming to requirements stated by the salient characteristics in Item Information. The total price shall include the delivery cost to the FOB Destination. Offerors shall sign the standard form (Page 1) and return the complete documentation as part of the offer.
