- This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for capable small business construction companys. Title: RFP 12905B23R0014 Construction of hop picker� building THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY to determine availabilty of small construction companies with the capacity to fulfill this requirement. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pacific West Area Office has a construction requirement for construction of a covered buikding for a hop pickier machine and drying kiln at USDA-ARS-PWA Forage Seed and Cereal Research unit 241006 N. Bunn Rd Prosser WA 99350. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for this requirement.� In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between is between $250,000 and $500,000.. Statement of Work is attached to this notice to help determine companies capacity to perform. USDA will issue a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract.� The Request for Proposal (RFP), 12905B23R0016, may be issued on or around 1 June 2023. The requirement will be a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE, under NAICS Code 236220 with a size standard of $49M. Completion timeframe for the resulting contract is to be determined. The RFP will be accessible via https://sam.gov/ in the �Contracting Opportunities� section. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFP package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.
