- This is a Sources Sought notice only, not a solicitation announcement and is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. This posting is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), and it is not considered to be a commitment by the Government to award a contract nor is the Government responsible for any costs incurred in furnishing information provided under this sources sought. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this sources sought or Government use of any information provided. Further, the Coast Guard is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response to this sources sought. Responses will assist the Government in determining the availability of potential solutions and commercial products in the market. At this time no solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The USCG Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) requests capability statements from interested companies for the purpose of identifying sources capable of providing support services for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of various manufacturing machines as listed in attachment 1. Please Answer the Questions in attachment 1 After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on the beta.SAM.gov website. Responses to this sources sought are not adequate responses to any future announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought notice. Responses to this sources sought notice are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice and any follow-up information requests. Closing date and time for receipt of response is 06/05/2023 at 5:00 pm EST. Telephone responses will not be accepted.� Responses should be submitted to William.T.Swinson3@uscg.mil.
