- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. DFAS IS NOT SOLICITING QUOTES AT THIS TIME, JUST INFORMATION. DFAS is conducting market research for Train the Trainer Training Services, as described in the attached Draft Performance Work Statement. DFAS is looking to determine the level of interest, for this potential requirement, from companies in the commercial sector. If your company would be interested in quoting on this requirement, DFAS would appreciate if you would let us know the level of your interest. A draft Performance Work Statement and Contractor Capability Survey are attached. Comments and questions to the PWS are welcome and can be addressed to patricia.pennington2.civ@mail.mil and christina.l.rosen.civ@mail.mil while the RFI is open. Thank you for your interest. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR TO OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. This RFI does not constitute a solicitation for quotes or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a Request For Quote or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this RFI or the Governments use of such information. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Whatever information is provided in response to this RFI may be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for determining how to proceed in the acquisition. Any proprietary information that is submitted may be used in establishing requirements, but specific contractor-submitted information will be safeguarded as proprietary.
