Description

Maintenance and Technical support to the electronic key control system for TSA - Notice of Intent to Sole Source Solicitation Number: 70T01023Q7668N001 � Notice Type: Special Notice � Synopsis: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for annual hosting services for a period of five years (one base and four option years) for its Fleet Commander Agile Fleet, LLC fleet management system which consists of Agile Fleet Commander web services, a key box for electronically securing and issuing vehicle keys, a kiosk for user interface, and cellular communication service the kiosk. In addition, TSA requires MIFARE cards, a reader, and installation to allow users to quickly sign out/in vehicles without manually logging in. The system uses cellular communication and does not access the TSA network. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a task order to Government Marketing & Procurement, LLC.� This task order will address the requirements of TSA Property Management Division (PMD).� TSA intends to award this requirement under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 8.405-6 (a)(1)(i)(B) for a base year period with four successive one-year option periods. TSA requires annual hosting services for a period of five years (one base and four option years) for its Agile Access Control, LLC fleet management system which consists of Agile Fleet Commander web services, a key box for electronically securing and issuing vehicle keys, a kiosk for user interface, and cellular communication service the kiosk. In addition, TSA requires MIFARE cards, a reader, and installation to allow users to quickly sign out/in vehicles without manually logging in. The system uses cellular communication and does not access the TSA network. This synopsis is not a request for competitive quotes. It is a notice that outlines the Government's intent to contract on a sole source basis with GMP.� � Sources may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. �Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the needs of the Government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted by email to Toshia Rollins (Toshia.N.Rollins@tsa.dhs.gov) in an electronic format, no later than 9:00 am Local Time (Arlington, VA) Tuesday May 16, 2023. �All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. �Responses shall be limited to no more than two (2) pages. �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals but is displaying the Government's intent to pursue a sole source strategy for this acquisition.
