- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 in Alexandria, LA is seeking potential sources capable of performing support and maintenance services for Steris equipment for the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. It is the responsibility of the intended source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the services that fulfill the required specifications in the attached Statement of Work (DRAFT). The proposed North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $34.0 Million. If interested, please submit a capability statement demonstrating your capacity to complete the requirement outlined in the Statement of Work to arlene.blade@va.gov not later than (NLT) Monday, May 22, 2023, at 4:30 PM CST. The Capability Statement shall meet the following criteria: Capability statement with general understanding of the industry and current knowledge and subcontract networks that would be used to support the requirement as identified herein. Information should suggest, NACIS Code, provide the socioeconomic status for your company and your subcontractors if you are planning on supporting this service with subcontractors. Submittals furnished will not be returned to the sender. No debriefs will be conducted. Eligibility in participating in a future acquisition does not depend upon a response to this notice. On page one (1) of the Capability Statement, begin by providing your company information as follows: Company name, address, phone number, Unique Entity ID (SAM), and point of contact (name, phone and e-mail). Please indicate the size status and representations of your business in accordance with the proposed NAICS code 811210, such as but not limited to: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Hubzone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large Business, etc.) Capability Statement must include but is not limited to (a) staff expertise, work experience, formal and other training; (b) current in-house capability and capacity to perform the work; (c) prior completed projects of similar nature; (d) corporate experience and management capability; and (e) examples of prior completed Government contracts, references, and other related information. NOTE: If you intend to subcontract any work on this contract, what portion of the total cost will be self-performed/will be performed by your organization? Please provide estimated detailed percentage breakdowns related to sub-contracted work and completion of job. Responses must be received via email to Contract Specialist at arlene.blade@va.gov no later than 4:30 PM Central Standard Time on May 22, 2023. This notice will help the VA in determining available potential sources only. Do not contact VA Medical Center staff regarding this requirement, as they are not authorized to discuss this matter related to this procurement action. All firms responding to this Request for Information are advised that their response is not a request for proposal/quotes, therefore will not be considered for a contract award. If a solicitation is issued, information will be posted on the Contracting Opportunities web site for all qualified interested parties at a later date and interested parties must respond to the solicitation to be considered for award. This notice does not commit the government to contract for any supplies or services. The government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Request for Information. Information will only be accepted in writing by e-mail to Arlene A.
