Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT SOLE SOURCE The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract on a sole-source basis. In accordance with FAR part 6.302-1, there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for these parts.� The proposed source is Teledyne FLIR/Raymarine Maritime US, INC., 9 Townsend West, Nashua, NH� 03063-1233.� The requirement is for the purchase of Scalable Integrated Navigation Systems (SINS II) and USCG Raymarine Automated Identification System (AIS II) systems that is used on board all USCG Cutters and Small Boats.� The duration of this contract will be 5 years from date of award. The award will be FOB Destination, with delivery orders to be fulfilled within sixty (60) calendar days of receipt from the Government. This purchase will be made utilizing procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote will be issued to Raymarine and awarded within approximately ten (10) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capacity to meet this requirement. The approved Justification and Approval, (J&A), for this requirement will be posted following the award of this requirement. Closing response date is no later than 2:00 PM ET on May 23, 2023. No phone calls will be accepted.
