Description
SEE ATTACHMENT This is a sources sought notice for a non-personal service contract to be performed Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS) to provide Nutritional Care / Food Services support to the Dining Facility (DFAC) at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) Landstuhl, Germany. The contract Support staff requirements include a Contract Manager, Food Service Supervisory support, Shift Lead Support, Food Service Workers / Culinary support, and Cashier support to fulfill administration management, food preparation, cashier and cash control, ration and administrative services, and food service sanitation on a 365/366 (leap year) basis. The services contemplated have been determined to be commercial in nature. The LRMC Nutrition Care Division (NCD) operates Hill Top Caf� to provide meal services to all hospital/clinic patients, family members, staff, visitors, and authorized Subsistence in Kind (SIK) service members in the facility. LRMC�s Hill Top Caf� serves an average of 514 meals per week (weekdays), 197 meals per weekend, and 213 Holiday meals (all holidays). The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, personnel necessary to complete the required tasks as described herein. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the service contract providers performing the services herein. Contractor service providers (CSPs) are not subject, either by the contract terms or by the manner of its administration, to the supervision and control usually prevailing in relationships between the Government and its employees. Such CSPs shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who in turn is responsible to the Government.
