- THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT 2 June 2023. AND WILL CLOSE ON OR ABOUT 30 June 2023. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is for the locating, drilling, and development of one to seven new drinking water wells on the Six Rivers National Forest (SRF). SRF presently has 13 active drinking water treatment systems at administrative (Guard Stations) and recreation sites (Campgrounds); 12 of these systems depend on unreliable surface water sources. The objective is to develop deep groundwater wells, not under the influence of surface water, that produce (ideally) between 8-16 GPM. The work shall also include cleanup and disposal of all removed building material from Forest Service lands. Successful contractor must hold a C-57 license from the state of California. PROJECT LOCATION: There are seven locations for this project:� 1.�� �Salyer Guard Station Trinity County; 224 CA-299, Salyer, CA 95563; 40�53�18�N 123�35�07�W 2.�� �Mad River Compound Trinity County; Next door to the US Forest Service Mad River Ranger District Office at 741 CA-36, Mad River, CA 95526; 40�28�03�N �123�31�41�W 3.�� �Zenia Guard Station Trinity County; 100 FS Road 2508, Zenia, CA 95595; 40�12�29�N �123�27�35�W 4.�� �Ruth Guard Station Trinity County; 19500 Lower Mad River Road, Ruth, CA 95526; 40�15� 00�N 123�19�10�W 5.�� �Panther Flat Campground Del Norte County; 11000 Highway US-199, Gasquet, CA 95543; 41�50�34�N 123�55�51�W 6.�� �Fir Cove Bailey Campground Trinity County; Lower Mad River Road, Bridgeville, CA 95526 40�20'26.9""N 123�24'10.4""W 7.�� �Mad River Campground Trinity County; Lower Mad River Road, Bridgeville, CA 95552 40�24'11.8""N 123�28'02.3""W Contractors shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish specified work in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract. Both performance and payment bonds will be required for this project as well as a bid guarantee.� In accordance with FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $500,000,000.� This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System NAICS 237990 with size standard $45 mil. This project is set aside 100% Total Small Business.� This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity to perform the construction, additions, alterations, or maintenance and repairs as described above. This Pre-solicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. � Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Pre-solicitation Notice. �All costs associated with responding to this Pre-solicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. �Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. �Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract.
