- Description
- Request for Information (RFI) only. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is actively seeking information from potential vendors with demonstrated expertise and experience in conducting detailed and comprehensive homeport studies. This RFI aims to gauge the feasibility, logistical considerations, and precise requirements associated with establishing a new homeport for our Marine Transportation Cutter-Heavy (MTC-H). We anticipate that the selected vendor will undertake an in-depth study that encompasses various critical aspects such as logistical and operational requirements, available local resources, potential costs, and environmental impacts. Given the environmentally sensitive nature of this project, compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) is of paramount importance. The gathered information will be instrumental in informing the development of a robust acquisition strategy tailored towards the specific needs of the MTC-H Homeport project. This RFI will help us determine the market capabilities and identify potential solutions and innovate approaches that can help us meet our objectives in a cost-effective and timely manner. Interested parties are invited to review the attached RFI document for detailed information about the projects scope, vendors expected roles and responsibilities, and the specific questions to be addressed in the response. We are open to receiving responses from all vendors who believe they possess the requisite expertise and capabilities to undertake this project. We look forward to receiving comprehensive responses that will aid in shaping the future course of this project. Please ensure to submit your response within the specified time frame stated in the RFI. To access the complete RFI document, please click on the attachment link below. If you have any further inquiries or require additional information, do not hesitate to reach out as specified in the RFI document.
