Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Research Unit located at Schriever, LA. has a requirement for; construct prefabricated modular lab building.� The work includes but is not limited to:� The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to: Design, build and install an approximately 2100 sq. ft. prefabricated modular lab building with full utilities, exterior security LED lighting, and HVAC systems, that meet all Lab requirements and specifications.� The project is located at the USDA-ARS Sugarcane Research lab in Schriever, LA. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract.� The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.� The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M.� Contractors shall not directly contact the�facility to discuss this requirement.� During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about June 08, 2023.� This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
