Description
Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFACSYSCOM), Northwest is issuing this Sources Sought Notice for Market Research purposes only.� This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, quote and/or invitation for bid.� This Sources Sought is to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide advanced meters and components that provide equal performance and can fully integrate to meet cybersecurity requirements of NAVFACSYSCOM Northwest existing AMI system manufactured by Schneider Electric.� The advance meters and front-end interface include the following: Schneider Electric PowerLogic ION 8650 Series Electric Meter Schneider Electric PowerLogic PM 8000 Series Electric Meter Schneider Electric PowerLogic ION 9000 Series Electrical Meter Schneider Electric StruxureWare Power Monitoring Expert Metering Software The use of the Specified Manufacturer and Product Line advanced meters and front-end interfaces will be required for all projects that require a connection to the identified (existing or currently under development) NAVFACSYSCOM networked Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) commonly referred to as the Northwest AMI Network. The AMI system provides centralized monitoring of facility energy consumption for facilities at multiple installations equipped with advanced energy meters. The meters are tied to a private fiber network through a radio frequency mesh with Schneider Electric (Schneider) Power Monitor Expert software residing on a separate front-end server. Data from the AMI front-end server are available to multiple users through the Control System Platform Enclave (CSPE). The Specified Manufacturer and Product Line meters will be configured and programmed using Government-licensed software from the respective Specified Manufacturer. To be considered, please submit detailed technical data in order for the Government to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your product to ensure compatibility with the existing system.� The responder is solely responsible for the information it submits and any associated costs.� The Government reserves the right to disregard any submittal that is incomplete or vague.� Please do not submit company brochures. Please submit complete information to Ms. Barbara Young via email at barbara.a.young1.civ@us.navy.mil.� Interested parties shall provide their response by June 6, 2023 at 2:30 P.M. Pacific Time.� Information received after the due date/time will not be considered.� Any information provided to the Government in response to this RFI will not be returned.� All proprietary information will be treated appropriately.
