- N0016423SNB88 � SOURCES SOUGHT � AN/SQS-53C Stave Frames � PSC 1905 � NAICS 332710 Issue Date: 26 MAY 2023 � Closing Date: 12 JUNE 2023 SOURCES SOUGHT: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), the Government is issuing this Sources Sought announcement as part of market research. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC-CR) is seeking information for market research purposes to acquire AN/SQS-53C Stave Frames. The Government has a requirement for the fabrication, assembly, inspection, test and delivery of AN/SQS-53C Stave Frames is accepting information regarding capabilities from companies potentially capable of meeting the requirements as described above. BACKGROUND: NSWC-CR has been tasked with procuring AN/SQS-53C Stave Frames. The AN/SQS-53C is a computer-controlled surface-ship sonar that has both active and passive operating capabilities providing precise information for Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) weapons control and guidance. The AN/SQS-53C is designed to perform direct path ASW search, detection, localization, and tracking from a hull mounted transducer array. Stave Frames are mounted in a cylindrical array in the Sonar Dome located in the Bow of Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer Ships and are populated with eight TR-343 Sonar Transducers per Stave Frame. REQUESTED INFORMATION: Interested parties are requested to provide the information that identifies its capability to provide the fabrication, assembly, inspection, test and delivery of AN/SQS-53C Stave Frames described herein. Please provide information of performance on other Government contracts with similar efforts as applicable.
