- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This pre-solicitation notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24223R0087 for Door Repair and Replacement at the VA New Jersey Healthcare Systems (NJHCS) Lyons Campus. This requirement shall be a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all responsible SDVOSB's may submit a quote, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $45.0 Million. Statement of Work Title of Project: Remove/Replace/Repair automatic, and rollup doors at the Lyons VA Medical Center, 151 Knollcroft Road Lyons, N.J. 07939 Scope of Work: The contractor shall remove and replace the main entrance doors at Bldg.143, and remove and replace Bldg.7 East Ramp Entrance door. Labor and Material necessary to accomplish the services as described in the statement of work (SOW), SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED UNDER THIS SCOPE OF WORK. Building 143 Ground Level South Wing Outside Slider Replacement 1.Vendor will remove and dispose of one (1) existing damaged door, frame and hardware. Furnish and install one (1) glass and aluminum door and frame complete including: Dark Bronze Anodized Finish SO-SX-SX-SO configuration Breakout Door Package Narrow Stile Construction ¼ Clear Tempered Glazing Two (2) Motion Sensors Two (2) Doorway Holding Beams Electronic Locking Aluminum Threshold Building 143 Ground Level South Wing Inner Slider Replacement 1.Vendor will remove and dispose of one (1) existing damaged door, frame and hardware. Furnish and install one (1) glass and aluminum door and frame complete including: Dark Bronze Anodized Finish SO-SX-SX-SO configuration Breakout Door Package Narrow Stile Construction ¼ Clear Tempered Glazing Two (2) Motion Sensors Two (2) Doorway Holding Beams Electronic Locking Aluminum Threshold Bldg. 7 East Wing Ramp Entrance Replacement 2.Vendor will remove and dispose of the existing damaged door, frame and hardware completely. Furnish and install one (1) 16GA galvanneal steel frame and one (1) 18GA galvanneal steel Everline Strongdor door complete including: Ball Bearing Non-Removable Pin Hinges Heavy Duty Closer Device 24 x 32 Visible Glass With Wired Safety Glazing 36 x 36 Transom Glass Baked Enamel Rim Exit Device Escutcheon Entrance Function Lever-Trim 12 H Stainless Steel Kickplate Perimeter Door-Stop Weatherstripping Door-Bottom Brush Sweep Aluminum Threshold Door to be top capped Unit to be sealed to existing surroundings Prefinished gray with high-performance Industrial coating, no further finishing or painting is required HUT13 Door 1 3.Vendor will remove and dispose damaged LH bottom length of door track. Furnish and install new LH bottom length of door track complete. Furnish and install new door bottom weatherseal and retainer complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Building 13 - Rolling Steel Door #1 4.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged emergency pull rope. Furnish and install new emergency pull rope complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation Building 15 - Rolling Steel Door #1 5.Vendor will furnish and install new LH & RH black clip-on weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Building 15 - Rolling Steel Door #3 6. Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged bottom bar, safety edge, and junction box. Furnish and install new bottom bar, safety edge, and junction box complete. Make all necessary mechanical and electrical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Building 15 - Rolling Steel Door #4 7.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged coil cord. Furnish and install new 2-wire coil cord complete. Make all necessary mechanical and electrical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Grounds - Rolling Steel Door #3 8.Vendor will furnish and install new LH & RH black clip-on weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Grounds - Rolling Steel Door #3 9.Vendor will furnish and install new LH & RH black clip-on weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Grounds - Rolling Steel Door #5 10.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged bottom bar. Furnish and install new bottom bar with rubber seal complete. Furnish and install new LH & RH black clip-on weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Grounds - Rolling Steel Door #6 11.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged bottom bar. Furnish and install new bottom bar with rubber seal complete. Furnish and install new LH & RH black clip-on weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Circle 1 - Rolling Steel Door #2 12.Vendor will re-anchor and secure RH door track to wall with wall anchors complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Building 143 - Rolling Steel Door # 1 13.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged door operator. Furnish and install new door hoist operator complete. Make all necessary mechanical and electrical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. ROLLING STEEL DOORS Boiler Room Door 1 14.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged RH weatherseal. Furnish and install new RH clip-on weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Boiler Room Door 2 15.Vendor will furnish and install new LH & RH clip-on weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Boiler Room Door 3 16.Vendor will furnish and install new RH clip-on weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Boiler Room Door 4 17.Vendor will furnish and install new 2-wire coil cord complete. Make all necessary mechanical and electrical connections. Furnish and install new stick-on safety edge and coil cord complete. Furnish and install new keyed 3 push button station complete. Make all necessary mechanical and electrical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operations. Boiler Room Door 8 21.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged safety edge and coil cord. Furnish and install new stick-on safety edge and coil cord complete. Make all necessary mechanical and electrical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Boiler Room Door 9 22.Vendor will furnish and install new LH & RH clip-on weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. PEDESTRIAN DOORS Bldg. 3 West Wing Loading Dock Automatic Double Door 24.Vendor will furnish and install screw on brush seal for one (1) pair of automatic double doors complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle doors to check for safe and proper operation. Bldg. 4 Basement Level South Wing Automatic Double Door 25.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged weatherseal on existing automatic double doors. Furnish and install new slide on weatherseal on existing automatic double doors complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle doors to check for safe and proper operation. Bldg. 143 South Wing Outer Entrance Sliding Door 26.Vendor will assess and diagnose issues with door activation for up to 1.5 hours. Attempt to repair door with materials on hand. Determine what additional materials are needed for repairs (if necessary) Bldg. 143 North Wing Loading Dock Double Doors 27.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged hinges. Remove and dispose of damaged LH, RH, and bottom weatherstripping. Furnish and install new full face continuous hinges on both doors complete. Furnish and install new KH, RH, and bottom weatherstripping complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Bldg. 135 East Wing Inner Double Doors 28.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged hinges. Remove and dispose of damaged LH, RH, and bottom weatherstripping. Furnish and install new full face continuous hinges on both doors complete. Furnish and install new KH, RH, and bottom weatherstripping complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Bldg. 135 1st Floor Central Wing Double Doors 29.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged hinges. Remove and dispose of damaged LH, RH, and bottom weatherstripping. Furnish and install new full face continuous hinges on both doors complete. Furnish and install new KH, RH, and bottom weatherstripping complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Bldg. 135 1st Floor 1A117 Entrance Patio Sliding Door 30.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged weatherseal. Furnish and install new slide-in weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Bldg. 135 1st Floor West Wing 1C Unit Entrance Sliding Door 31.Vendor will remove and dispose of damaged weatherseal. Furnish and install new slide-in weatherseal complete. Make all necessary mechanical connections. Cycle door to check for safe and proper operation. Performance Period: The contractor shall complete the work required under this SOW within 45 day of this award unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer (CO). Hours of work are to be between 7:00am and 4:30 pm on normal weekdays. Work on Federal Holidays is excluded from this Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed-Price. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on sam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about June 8, 2023 . The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding, and all responses/submissions shall be electronic; faxed or hand delivered proposals will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in sam.gov and be registered and verified as a SDVOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
