- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) is issuing this RFI to conduct market research and obtain feedback from industry regarding migration of the CDCs Vaccine Tracking System (VTrckS) from the existing Systems Applications and Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment to the SAP S/4HANA environment. This RFI will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and assist in gaining an understanding of approaches for VTrckS migration to SAP S/4HANA. This RFI will not only assist the Government in identifying potential capable sources within industry but also assist in the identification of any possible existing Government contract vehicles available to meet CDCs specialized needs. Additionally, this market research will assist the Government in determining the availability of small businesses that may fit into any potential resultant acquisition strategy. This RFI is being used to gather information for market research and planning purposes only. This is not and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or, a Request for Quote (RFQ) or any other type of solicitation for either quotes, proposals, or proposal abstracts and does not commit the Government to solicit or award a contract in the future or otherwise pay for any information received. The Government will not accept any unsolicited proposals as a result of this RFI. Additionally, the Government does not intend to make an award as a result of this RFI. Also, the System for Award Management site (SAM.gov) will be the sole repository for all information related to this RFI. All subsequent information such as responses to questions related to this RFI will be posted to SAM.gov. However, dependent upon the acquisition strategy, this requirement, if it becomes an acquisition after the RFI, may be conducted through other sources such as the General Services Administration (GSA) e-Buy system. Respondents are advised that the Government will not reimburse for any information, or any costs associated and/or incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested parties expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in a future solicitation if one is issued. See attached for detailed information related to this notice and submission requirements.
