- Amendment 0003 is being issued to provide question and answers received. 1) If we were to use a subcontractor for the strip/wax how many references would that subcontractor need and what details would need to be included in that reference? Answer: From the selection criteria:"" Listing shall include personnel trade education, and certifications related to cleaning and operation of cleaning equipment, and work experience specific to cleaning and general janitorial services contracts. Janitorial services for public/private schools, office buildings or hospitals is a requirement of this category. Listing shall also include each staff member number of years in performing janitorial services and years employed with the Contractor."" 2) Was the previous service of stripping wax and shampoo of carpets completed to your satisfaction? How recent (year?) was the last satisfactory service of strip/buff/wax and carpet shampoo? Answer: Last stripping wax and shampoo of carpets was completed in 2020. There were no negative issues related to the service. 3) Well, automated cleaning robots be allowed in the facility? - day shift Answer: per the Performance Work Statement: ""No vacuuming or mechanical scrubbing equipment shall be used during normal business hours without approval from the CO or COR."" Note that operation of electrical cleaning equipment can be seen as disruptive to the work environment within the facility, and be potentially detrimental to the work plan without identified remedies. -after hours shift. Answer: Contractor methods and means shall be clearly defined in the Contractor proposal in order for the Government to evaluate any benefit or detraction of the Contractor proposal 4) Will manned-cleaning chariots be allowed in the facility? - day shift Answer: ""No vacuuming or mechanical scrubbing equipment shall be used during normal business hours without approval from the CO or COR."" Note that operation of electrical cleaning equipment can be seen as disruptive to the work environment within the facility, and be potentially detrimental to the work plan without identified remedies. -after hours shift - Answer: Contractor methods and means shall be clearly defined in the Contractor proposal in order for the Government to evaluate any benefit or detraction of the Contractor proposal 5) can we get the square footage in separation by the following areas (since the schedule vary based on this type of location): - General, Private Offices, Lobby Lounge - Washrooms - Lunchroom/Common Areas (C & G) Answer: See attached floorplan maps 6) Could we also get a map of the facilities, a Fire evacuation map will work fine as a substitute also.
