Description
Dear Offeror, The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a proposal for of Repair/Replace Toilets� Walls and Ceiling Tiles at the Chancery of the U.S. Embassy Baku. Please see attached the following documents: Solicitation package 19AJ2023Q0010 Technical drawing # 1 If you are interested in submitting a proposal on this project, read the instructions in Section L of the attached Request for Proposals (RFP). Please email your proposal to BAKUBIDBOX@STATE.GOV with a copy to BAKUBIDBOX@GMAIL.COM on or before 18:00 (6:00 pm) Baku time, June 16, 2023. No proposal will be acceptable after this time. If you intend to submit a proposal, you should thoroughly examine all documents contained in the contract solicitation package.� Submit any questions you may have concerning the solicitation documents in writing by June 13, 2023.� Responses will be sent in writing to all contractors on our list of interested parties. Complete the OFFER portion of the Standard Form 1442, including all blank spaces, and have the form signed by an authorized representative of your company, or the proposal may be considered unacceptable and may be rejected. The title of the email with your proposal must state the solicitation number. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in your proposal disqualification. Please do not compress your offers with ZIP or any other software. U.S. Embassy Baku servers will not accept the files. In order for a proposal to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following: Section B and Attachment 4, Proposal Breakdown by Divisions; Section A and Executed Standard Form 1442 ����������� 3.�������� Section K, Representations and Certifications; ����������� 4.�������� Bar Chart illustrating sequence of work to be performed; ����������� 5.�������� Additional information as required in Section L.� � � The contract will be a firm fixed price contract, with no adjustment for any escalation in costs or prices of labor or materials.� Each offeror will be responsible for determining the amount of labor and materials that will be required to complete the project, and for pricing its proposal accordingly. Please be advised that each offeror is responsible for furnishing complete information to its subcontractor and suppliers, such as details and quantities required by the drawings and specifications.� Subcontractors and suppliers should not be referred to the Embassy for determining the amount or quantities of materials required. The construction completion time is 40 days.� In the event of an unauthorized or unexcused delay in completing the project, liquidated damages in the amount of USD 205.80 per calendar day will be assessed until substantial completion of the project is achieved. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in proposals received.� In addition, the Embassy reserves the right to establish a competitive range of one or more offerors and to conduct further negotiations concerning price and other terms before awarding the contract, or to award without discussions. An organized Site Visit will be held on June 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the U.S. Embassy Baku, 111 Azadliq ave. Offerors planning to attend the site visit must submit the names (First Name, Surname), nationality and phone number of their company�s representatives to the attention of Anar Rzayev, Procurement Agent, U.S. Embassy Baku, e-mail: RzayevA@state.gov no later than June 2, 2023. This information must be provided in order to ensure access to the site. No substitutes or additional persons may attend the site visit. Attendees are requested to carry their photo ID along with them.
