- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE is for informational purposes only.� THE SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR INVITATION FOR BID. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District, requests letters of interest from PRIME CONTRACTORS interested in performing work on a potential design-bid-build construction solicitation for the FY23 Repair Building 1670, Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE.� Project Description: Existing Building 1670 is predominantly a single-story, multi-wing structure approximately 79,752 SF, non-historic building, constructed around 1989. A limited area second floor is situated in Wing B, northern end. Currently, the building is utilized as a Vehicle Maintenance Shop/General Purpose warehouse. The completed renovated facility will house 3 primary mission functions: A. New Unit Supply Storage Activity (SSA) warehouse for 40th Quartermaster Company: Capability of storing and maintaining Army pre-positioned stocks and items required for active duty operation. SSA facilities will include administrative spaces, contractor logistics support area, multi-purpose conference room and men's and women's toilets and warehouse module. SSA is a specified application of general purpose warehouse space for organizational supply storage and provides enclosed, covered, and open storage space to accomplish material receiving, turn-in, shipping, distribution, and storage of Class II, III(P), IV, & IX supplies in brigade sets. B. New 150PN Company Operations Facility (COF) for 536th Maintenance Company: Company level administrative operations and store and move supplies. It is intended to be similar to office and warehouse type buildings in the private sector community. COFs provide administrative and supply facilities for unit personnel functions and storage of their equipment. These facilities serve as the primary staging, training, and deployment center for personnel and their individualized gear. C. Existing Medium-sized Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF); an entire complex of facilities for the maintenance, repair, deployment, mission planning & rehearsal, training, and sustainment of equipment assigned to a unit other than aircraft. Typical operations within the primary vehicle maintenance shop (VMS) within the TEMF complex include inspection, lubrication, preventive maintenance, diagnostic analysis, welding, body work, replacement of direct exchange systems, mobile maintenance team support, replacement of major components, repair of emission control system, performance of body and frame repair, and administration and scheduling of vehicle use and maintenance. Magnitude is $25M - $50M Interested PRIME CONTRACTORS should submit the following: Narrative demonstrating design-bid-build experience in warehouse-type facility renovation work with a minimum contract award amount of $25M at a remote location with a limited footprint next to existing/occupied facilities in a populated area. Narrative demonstrating phase construction of a facility requiring continuous operations. If the design-bid-build experience from paragraph a above was not in a remote location with a limited footprint next to an existing building in a populated, provide construction experience working at a location comparable in setting to Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii.� Bonding capability for a single contract action of at least $25M and aggregate of at least $50M by the interested prime contractor. UEI and CAGE CODE, Expiration date in SAM.GOV. Indicate whether your firm is a large business or small business. If your firm is a small business specify all applicable socio-economic categories per FAR PART 19. Interested Small Business Subcontractors should submit the following: Identify interested areas of work and provide a narrative demonstrating the experience that are similar in size, scope, complexity, and/or magnitude of the work performed. The size of the crew(s) available to perform work. Identify applicable socioeconomic category of HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, or Small Disadvantaged Business UEI and CAGE CODE, Expiration date in SAM.GOV. Narratives shall be no longer than two (2) pages. Email responses are required. Responses are to be sent via email to christie.s.lee@usace.army.mil and kent.a.tamai@usace.army.mil no later than June 14, 2023, 2:00 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
