Description

The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) seeks information on vendors that can provide four commercial multifunction calibrators, able to deliver a comparable uncertainty in voltage measurement in existing systems, capable of voltages from 1 m V to 1000 V, frequencies from DC to 1 MHz with compliance current sufficient to drive two common thermal converters in parallel >40 mA. Additionally, the calibrator needs to be 100% compatible with the existing custom NIST AC-DC difference calibration software that is programmed to use the Fluke 5700, Fluke 5720, Fluke 5730A. SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENT FOR DETAILS AND SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS. NIST is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a commercial item solution that meets or exceeds the following draft minimum specifications: Voltage for AC and DC shall be 1 mV to 1000 V. Frequency range shall be 10 Hz to 1 MHz. Shall have 1 ppm voltage stability over 24-hour period. Shall have 5 ppm voltage accuracy over 1-year period. Shall have IEEE488.2 (GPIB) interface. Shall have Fluke 5700A/5720A/5730A command emulation or compatibility. Shall operate on US standard 120V 60 Hz. Shall provide a compliance current of at least 40 mA from 0.5 V to 200 V
