- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE � THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT�S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD PURCHASE ORDER TO Thermo Electron North America LLC for TSQ 8000 triple quadruple GSMS service plan. The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Professional Services Acquisition Unit intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Contract to Thermo Electron North America LLC., 1400 NORTHPOINT PKWY STE 10�WEST PALM BEACH, FL 33407-1976 for a TSQ 8000 triple quadrupole GSMS service plan. The service is for certified service engineers to perform services, trouble shoot and resolve problems experienced by the instrument. The period of performance will be one year from the date of award, plus three (3) option years with an estimated value of $78,900. This procurement will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6 limited source, only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The PO is intended to continue the requirement for a TSQ 8000 triple quadruple GSMS service plan. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
