- Updated 6/2/2023 Due to high interest, the Government is offering a virtual attendance option to the DFTS II Pre-Solicitation Conference on 14 June 2023. Pre-registration is still required by providing the information included below to Mr. Christopher Frost @ christopher.t.frost4.civ@mail.mil, Ms. Cassandra Range @ cassandra.a.range.civ@mail.mil, and Ms. Amy Burk at amy.g.burk.civ@mail.mil no later than 07 June 2023, 12:00 PM CDT. *Unfortunately, we have reach max capacity and no longer taking request for the Virtual One on Ones for 15 June, 2023.� ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ As part of continuing Market Research, the Government is planning to conduct a Pre-Solicitation Conference for the Defense Freight Transportation Services (DFTS-II) contract. The Government intends to hold a general session in the morning and conduct one-on-one sessions as scheduling allows.� Date:��� � � 14 June 2023 8:00 � 5:00� Location:� Hilton Garden Inn O�Fallon� � � � � � � � � � � 360 Regency Park Drive O'Fallon, IL 62269� Abstract:�The overall scope of this program is to provide transportation services to support the DoD, and DoD contractors supporting DoD missions, such as the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) and F-35 Programs. Services encompass support from receipt of the shipment request through final payment for services rendered. Support includes management of shipments to ensure required transportation is successfully completed. Transportation support is required for Freight All Kinds (FAK) shipments including, but not limited to, first destination transportation (vendor shipments), second destination, scheduled routes, DLA Disposition Services (formerly known as DRMS), unit moves, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) support, humanitarian/contingency support, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and surge shipments. Services shall be provided between various locations within the Continental United States (CONUS), including but not limited to, vendor facilities, DoD warehouses, consolidation facilities, and US Armed Forces Bases/Camps/Posts. Pickup and delivery may occasionally be necessary in Alaska and Canada (Outside CONUS (OCONUS)). Routes may include multiple stops and split pickups. The Government anticipates awarding a single indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract managing approximately 300,000 orders annually.� Purpose:�The purpose of this Pre-Solicitation Conference is to provide an open forum for potential prime offerors to discuss the upcoming solicitation with the appropriate Government representatives. The meeting will encompass a briefing on the program�s history, an outline of the acquisition strategy, and the proposal submittal process. Following the briefings, USTRANSCOM will be conducting optional one-on-one scheduled sessions. Sessions will be filled on a first sign-up basis. In addition, the Government anticipates posting a RFI #3 with a draft Solicitation including all attachments and appendices on or around 02 June 2023.� Who Should Attend?�All industry partners interested in this program are invited to attend. Due to space constraints pre-registration is required.
