Description
The purpose of this Request for Information is for market research in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and is issued IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 15.201(e).� AMIC is currently conducting market research to determine market capability and understanding of the Government request.� This is not a solicitation for proposals and this announcement does not commit the Acquisition Management and Integrated Center (AMIC) to contract for any service whatsoever.� No reimbursement shall be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or for any follow up information requests.� Nothing shall be construed herein or through this market research process to commit or obligate the Government to further action as a result of this research.� The objective of this requirement is to contract services by providing a Maritime and Logistics Advisor in Mozambique to assist the Mozambican Navy (primarily) and the SERNIC (secondarily) in improving its operational readiness and capability and capacity to patrol its territorial waters and Economic Exclusion Zone; support the larger interagency strategy seeking to (1) develop a capable, a professional, and a willing maritime partner to defend against transnational threats and (2) to enhance the capacity of Mozambican institutions to respond to security threats that will contribute to regional and domestic peace and security while adhering to the rule of law and human rights principles.� The estimated period of performance consists of a four-year performance commencing in XXX 2023. The NAICS code is 541614 for this requirement.� The contract type is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price (FFP).� The Government is requesting to obtain feedback to support development of the subject requirement.� The below market survey will allow Training Support Service awardees to provide their company's feedback to meet the requirements of this potential contracting effort as well as provide industry insight.� Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this market survey. Attached is the draft requirement (Attachment 1) for your review. If, after reviewing these documents you believe that your firm is capable of supporting this effort, please respond to accordingly to the RFI Attachment instructions. Note: Please provide any inputs/feedback, questions, responses to market survey, suggestions and/or concerns regarding this requirement via�Attachment 2.� Capability statements shall be submitted to the POCs of this announcement.� �
