- SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS ONLY A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND�NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing�information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any�future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no�appointments for presentations will be made. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is conducting market research to determine domestic availability of Ground Fault Circuit Interruptor (GFCI)�receptacles. Salient features of GFCIs include: 20 amp, 125 vac, 2 pol, 3 wire, self-testing function, commercial grade, 5-20R NEMA�configuration, UL 943 listed, Class A, UL/CSA, Nema WD6, self-grounding, status indicating light. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes are 238210 Electrical Contractors, and 335931 Outlets (i.e.�receptacles), Electrical, Manufacturing. In order for the GFCI to be considered manufactured in the United States, all manufacturing processes must take place in the United States�and the cost of components mined, produced, or manufactured in the United States must exceed 60 percent of the cost of all the�components. Components of foreign origin of the same class or kind for which nonavailability determinations have been made are treated�as domestic.
