Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), on the behalf of the Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC), intends to issue a firm fixed price (FFP) FAR Part 13 commercial service Indefinite Delivery Requirement Contract on a competitive basis overhaul and repair services for the General Electric (GE) TF34-100A Compressor Discharge Pressure (CD) Seal Honeycomb Part Number (P/N) 6037T40G01 and 5023T74G02, NAICS: 488190 - Other Support Activities for Air Transportation, PSC: J016-maintenance/repair/rebuild of equipment- aircraft components and accessories. The ordering period for this Requirements contract will be for five years with anticipated start date on 8 July 2023. The place of performance will be in Orange Park, Fl. This action is being awarded on a competitive basis. As the Original Equipment manufacturer (OEM), GE is the sole manufacturer with proprietary rights to the drawings required to perform these services. The prints of these drawings are only releasable to GE certified sources of repair. Note: This pre-solicitation synopsis is for information only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or awards. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. This is not a request for proposals, a promise to issue a request for proposals, or a promise by the Government to pay for information received in response to this synopsis or any subsequent synopsis. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. However, any capability statements received by the close of the synopsis may be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The information contained herein is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract. If a solicitation is issued in the future, it will be announced via the PIEE Solicitation Module, and interested parties must comply with that announcement and are advised to continue to monitor this website.
