- NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EITHER MAILED, FAXED OR EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST. CONTACT INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN. The FAA is soliciting quotes from all interested and capable vendors for heavy lift crane services for an antenna and RADOME installation project near Battle Mountain, NV. See attached Statement of Work (SOW) for full details of scope and schedule. This is an urgent FAA need and unrestricted competition.� Due to the urgent timeline, a pre-bid site visit is not anticipated. The work site is on a mountain top and is a secured facility; however, the site is accessable via access road open to the public to the summit. Offerrors are encouraged to research the access road conditions however they can for equipment delivery to the site. Questions regarding this requirement, or any documents contained in this announcement, may be submitted at any time, but it is not expected the offer due date will be extended due to the urgency of this need.� � The FAA anticipates awarding a single contract for these services to the lowest price offeror who responds to this announcement before the close of the offer due date. The award decision is also subject to the lowest price vendor possessing an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) with no active exclusions therein. �� This is a competitive solicitation/award process for a FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) contract. As such, any proposals received that takes exception to the terms and conditions in this solicitation, proposes additional terms or conditions, or otherwise indicates within their proposal that pricing, schedule, or performance is contingent or subject to change cannot be evaluated at face value in a fair and equal competitive environment where the award decision is based on lowest price. Such offers received may be determined ineligible for award. � � It is recommended that offerors respond to this announcement only by submitting the completed RFQ document. Sections and items in this document that require offerors' attention have been highlighted for convenience.�The FAA intends to make a contract award without discussions. As such lowest and best offers should be submitted intially.� Please submit responses via email to the POC of this announcement to the following email address:� joshua.d.huckeby@faa.gov Please use the following message title in your email response for clear identification: ""RFQ RESPONSE: Battle Mountain Crane Service__(Insert your company name here)"" The offer due date is June 12th, 2023 at 1700 (Central). Late offers will not be accepted.� The estimated award date is on or before June 14th, 2023.� The FAA reserves the right to cancel this requirement at any time and without notice to offerors. Any activities or costs associated with offerors proposal development, and submission thereof, is at the risk of the offeror and will not be reimbursed by the FAA.
