- LITTLE SHEEP CABIN RENOVATION This is a sources-sought notice / request for information (RFI) only. This is not a request for a quote or proposal. This RFI is issued solely for market research purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this RFI. The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary to create the resultant solicitation. This RFI is issued by the Bureau of Land Management, Montana/Dakotas State Office, for the purpose of performing market research to determine the availability, interest, and capability of businesses under NAICS Code 236118 - Residential Remodelers. Background: This is the third time that this requirement has been solicited over the span of one year. Therefore, in accordance with FAR 19.502-2(a) the Government is planning on pursuing an unrestricted solicitation. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Montana State Office intends to solicit proposals for construction activities to alter the Little Sheep Cabin Complex. The project work is located on BLM lands approximately 7 miles from Lima, Montana in Beaverhead County. See attached specifications and drawings. Magnitude of Construction: Between $250,000 and $500,000 Submission requirements: Potential sources are invited to submit a response via e-mail to jalvarez@blm.gov no later than (1:00pm) (MDT) on (16 June 2023). Only attach MS Word/Excel compatible files or Adobe Acrobat PDF files in electronic correspondence. Telephonic inquiries will not be considered. Please provide the following information: 1. Company name and address 2. Company Point of Contact, phone number, and email 3. Unique Entity ID (SAM) number 4. NAICS codes associated with the company 5. Capabilities Statement 6. BLM Montana State Office has been having trouble awarding this requirement, please let me after reviewing the Specs and Drawings: a. Provide the biggest issues you foresee during the performance of this project. b. Ways to improve interest in this requirement. c. Errors that need corrections before solicitation. d. Any other concerns.
