- The purpose of this announcement is for Market Research in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and is issued IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 15.201(e). The Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC) is currently conducting market research to determine market capability and understanding of the Government request. This is not a solicitation for proposals and this announcement does not commit AMIC to contract for any service whatsoever. No reimbursement shall be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or for any follow up information requests. Nothing shall be construed herein or through this market research process to commit or obligate the Government to further action as a result of this research.� The objective of this requirement is to procure and deliver brand name or equal eleven (11) Iveco Daily Hi-Matic Cargo Vans, five (5) Ford Model #F250 � ton 4x4 Pickup Trucks and sixteen (16) Motorola XTS 3000 radios to the Country of Lebanon, Lebanese Armed Forces, Special Operations Forces--Lebanon Explosive Ordinance and Disposal (EOD) Unit. These vehicles and radios will be used to generate trained and ready forces for border security operations derived from the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Line of Effort to Defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and to disrupt regional and transregional terrorist organizations. This program also supports the Integrated Country Strategy objective to strengthen Lebanese state institutions to exert sovereign authority and enhance security. The Contractor shall provide sixteen (16) vehicles and radios.�� Attached is the draft procurement workbook (Attachment 1) and Statement of Work (Attachment 2) for your review.� If, after reviewing these documents you believe that your firm is capable of supporting this effort, please provide responses via Attachment 3.� Submit responses and capability statements of your company to Contract Manager (CM) at stephen.copetas.4.ctr@us.af.mil and Contract Officer (CO) delvin.whitlock.1@us.af.mil No later than June 20, 2023 by 10:00 AM ET.
