- W9123623B5017 Hoskins Creek Maintenance Dredging Tappahannock (Essex County), Virginia This is a pre-solicitation notice.� This is NOT a solicitation.� Do NOT submit proposals or questions in response to this notice. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Norfolk District (NAO) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) acquisition for the Hoskins Creek Maintenance Dredging project located in Tappahannock (Essex County), Virginia. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14, Invitation for Bid (IFB). The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract. The requirement will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 237790, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a Business Standard of $37M and Product Service Code of Y1KF � Construction and Dredging Facilities In accordance with FARS 36.204(F) Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 million. Project Description:� Provide labor, material, and equipment to perform the following: USACE NAO is seeking a small business capable of providing maintenance dredging comprising of hydraulic maintenance dredging of Hoskins Creek, transport of material by pipeline with placement within the confined upland placement site as shown in the drawings and contract specifications, and minor site-work of the confined upland placement site. Dredging will include the entirety of the authorized channel to a depth of -11 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) and will include 1 foot of allowable overdepth. The confined upland placement site will require clearing & grubbing only within the inner cell in addition to grading within the inner cell to promote proper flow of dredge material to the spillbox. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to determine the extent of repairs necessary for proper functionality and safety standards stated in the solicitation. Period of performance to complete the work will be 300 days from Notice to Proceed. All time of year restrictions and requirements stated in paragraph 1.3.1 have been considered in the given period of performance timeframe. The IFB and accompanying documents will be issued electronically and will be uploaded to SAM.gov on or about 12 July 2023. Telephone calls or written requests for the IFB package will NOT be accepted. � Prospective bidders are responsible for monitoring SAM.gov to respond to the solicitation and any amendments or other information regarding this acquisition. Prospective bidders are required to be registered in SAM when submitting an offer and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract.
