Description

The project site is Building 311 at Naval Air Station Oceana, Dam Neck Annex within the NSWDG (Naval Special Warfare Development Group) compound. Also known as the Shoot House, Building 311 houses two indoor shooting ranges, a 7 meter range and a 270� range. The contract area of work consists primarily of the areas inside and on the rooftop of Building 311 that contain the mechanical and electrical equipment supporting the 7 meter range. The work generally includes replacement of specific mechanical and electrical equipment supporting the 7 meter range and successful certification testing of the range after the new equipment is installed. Except where noted, equipment associated with the 270� range is not in the scope of this project. Work is not considered complete unless and until the 7-meter range is successfully certified.
