Questions and Responses 36C25623Q1158 CONVEYOR TRAY LINE This solicitation will allow alternative vendors, correct ? Response: Yes. You have a slat belt listed, please note a ""slat belt"" a roller chain with blue snap plastic on to it, are you able to confirm this spec as it is missing? Response: Missing spec yes, government requires a slat belt style. Government require an anti-microbial material. The color is inconsequential. What is preferred delivery date? Response: Contractor can provide estimate delivery after receipt of order. You have listed 28 to 35 feet, a field joint will be required- is that acceptable? Response:  Yes, our current item has one joint (was installed from two sections). The joints must be completed in a manner to ensure there is no decrease in functionality or the longevity of the equipment. Can work be completed on weekends? Response: Yes, government service is open 5:00am to 8:00pm, 365 days per year with three meal service periods each day, including weekends; I would prefer the demo/installation to be completed at night if possible. 6. Is this solicitation for a Veteran Owned business?  Response: Responses from Market Research will determine acquisition strategy.
