- SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico is conducting market research and seeking sources to provide Supply Technicians/Warehouse Material Handlers Services at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico for the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) to include administrative, technical, and material handling and warehouse operations support. This Sources Sought is requesting responses to the following criteria ONLY from 8(a) companies that can provide the required services. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 561210 �Facilities Support Services�, with the corresponding size standard of $47.0M. The contract type is anticipated to be Firm-Fixed Type contract type. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: The LRC at Fort Buchanan has a requirement for eight Supply Technicians/Warehouse Material Handlers Services. The contractor shall provide labor, supervision, training and all necessary to perform the Retail Supply Operations. Personnel shall have knowledge in the supply, warehouse, and fuel operation fields to fulfill mission requirements. Material Handlers and Supply Technicians must be licensed and/or certified to drive vehicles, trucks, and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) - (forklifts operators). All employees must be fully trained, licensed, evaluated, and certified by the contractor meeting Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and DOD requirements. The scope of this requirement is to provide retail supply, logistics, fuel operations and subsistence management support consisting of the following functions: Receipt incoming containers, unload, inventory, unpack, sort, pack, issue, stacks bins, storage, and crates; prepare supplies and equipment for shipment, prepare shipping documents, process receipts documentation in GCSS-A, and other Army/DOD automated systems. Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and motor vehicles assigned. Issue and account for fuels received. Operate MHE and vehicles. Perform requisition, receipt, storage, issue, inventory, accounting, inspection, turn-in and disposal functions of rations at the SSMO. All functions must meet AR 710-2, AR 725-50, AR 30-22, AR 385-10, DA PAM 30-22 and all DOD regulatory guidance.� SUBMISSION DETAILS: Vendors who wish to respond to these sources sought should send responses via email NLT 9 May 2023, 10:00am San Juan, Puerto Rico Time to Mrs. Eileen Rivera at eileen.z.riveradomenech.civ@army.mil and Mrs. Carla M.
