- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR BIDS This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Alabama Air National Guard � 117TH Air Refueling Wing, to identify potential vendors for a competitive Small Business Set-Aside for construction with a Project Magnitude of $100,000 to $250,000. This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract based on this market research. No funds are available at this time. The 117th ARW located at Birmingham IAP, Birmingham, AL, is requesting information, pursuant to FAR PART 10, in support of Market Research, to identify potential sources for the replacement of windows and frames in Bldg. 700. The proposed project includes the following: The project replaces the 58 each single hung windows wood and vinyl framed windows with interstitial blinds, measuring approximately 14 square foot each, with a fixed composite fiberglass and vinyl framed energy efficient window system with interior blinds. These windows are in building 700. ��The new windows shall not include mullions.� The existing windows are set within the masonry and brick opening with drywall interior header and jamb on the interiors. The threshold material varies from drywall to wood to plastic.� The contractor is responsible for ensuring the new window system is installed in accordance with the manufacturer�s recommendations and industry standards to ensure a water/airtight installation.� The caulking shall match the existing surfaces and the interior surfaces shall be repaired to match the existing. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 236220, which has a corresponding Size Standard of $45.0M. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice with a capability statement not to exceed (NTE) two (2) pages and ensure your Unique Entity ID, CAGE Code and small business status is identified, per listed NAICS code.� Please include Bonding limits, single project, and aggregate, are included. Capability statements shall be electronically submitted via email only. No paper documents will be accepted or acknowledged.
