NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: Republic Lagun Maintenance and Repair The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award a firm fixed price, sole source procurement for the purchase of maintenance, repair, and update services on eight (8) Republic-Lagun machinery instruments to: Harbor Machine Tool Co, Inc. ����������� CNC Corporation ����������� 800 Sprucelake Drive ����������� Harbor City, CA 90710 The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999, PSC J036. Interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. REQUIREMENT: The Contractor shall provide one (1) Annual Preventative Maintenance visit, one (1) Unscheduled Maintenance visit and Repairs, travel and OEM replacement parts on eight (8) Republic Lagun machines listed below. REPUBLIC LAGUN LATHE L 18CNC S/N: 17683050491 REPUBLIC LAGUN VERTICAL MILL 320 EXP S/N: 26080 REPUBLIC LAGUN HORIZONTAL SAW S/N: AJBEW162408 REPUBLIC LAGUN LATHE EXP LL EC 13 S/N 51433 REPUBLIC LAGUN VERTICAL MILL KMC 310 S/N: 43147 REPUBLIC LAGUN HORIZONTAL MILL HRF 1732 EXP S/N: 46001 REPUBLIC LAGUN UTC 2180 EXP S/N: 2182207986 REPUBLIC LAGUN VBS 2727H EXP S/N: 110CM The Contractor shall perform maintenance and small repairs per the manufactures preventative maintenance recommendation and warranty needed to the Republic Lagun machines. The Contractors minimum maintenance performed will include: Verify machines level Verify perpendicularity of table to spindle Clean machines for chips and debris Remove way covers and ensure that the slide ways are properly lubricated Inspect and clean ball screw chambers Ensure that the oil and coolant properly drain Check all screws on all axes, ensure proper lubrication Visually check ball screw thrust bearings Check axis drive belt for wear Check spindle drive belt for wear Clean and lubricate tool changer carousel Review general condition of hoses and pipes The Contractor shall provide the government a checklist for each machines maintenance performed and list of parts damaged and replaced per the manufactures preventative maintenance recommendations. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposal. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The circumstances permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements."" In accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.207(c)15, the reason justifying the lack of competition is that, after extensive Market Research, no other responsible source was identified that could meet the Government�s needs. IAW FAR 5.207(c)16, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this electronic notice must be submitted by 2:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time on 06/23/2023. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties shall email all statements to Waylin Duhon at waylin.m.duhon.civ@us.navy.mil� and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating the capability to fulfill the Government�s requirement.��
