Description

Amendment 00001 - Questions and Answers 1. Does the government want the aircraft to be located/remain in San Angelo for the duration of the contract? The aircraft is only expected to be on site for the days it is being used. Ideally, this would be determined by the 15 of the month prior to, in order to ensure availability. So, whatever days were scheduled, the aircraft would need to be here and available, other than that it can be anywhere. 2. With fluctuating fuel cost, is there a mechanism in place to compensate large swings in fuel price? This contract will be awarded on a Firm Fixed Price. 3. If the government exceeds at the programmed 200 (first year) 300 (additional years) is there a mechanism to reimburse, such as an over and above work? The government provided estimate hours of anticipated need per ordering period, these are just estimates per year. Furthermore, this contract is an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract. The government will issue delivery order or orders as needed throughout the life of the contract. � --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The purpose of this contact is to provide pilots assigned to the Unmanned Aerial Systems Joint Program Office (UAS-JPO) located in San Angelo Texas with access to a single engine aircraft to accomplish currency and proficiency flights without going into temporary duty travel (TDY) from the local area.
