Description
ABMC has a requrement to acquire the services of a contractor to provide and implement an established enterprise-class software solution, highly preferably a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) cloud software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, to manage ABMC archival collections through the use of a collections management system (CMS). The current archival collection consists of historical documents and photographs related to the creation and implementation of the Commission as well as architectural plans and blueprints, and soldiers military records. The records management staff shall be the only staff authorized to input data into the software (backend). However, the public-facing site should be able to access an online version of its content (frontend), to carry out searches in the database, and to organize backups of content. The database shall also be designed and maintained jointly alongside the ABMCs IT department, located at the Headquarters office. The scope of this work is to implement, configure, maintain, and train users on a new SaaS CMS. A successful solution must also meet the requirements outlined in the IT Security and Privacy Requirements. In-depth system training and user guides are required for ABMC users worldwide. The Contractor is required to design and develop a CMS to digitally manage the collections that will meet all the documented requirements. The Contractor is expected to provide the necessary configuration for the optimal functioning of the solution, considering the number of records and images which will include data migration from existing systems, as well as those which shall be required to be bulk uploaded from spreadsheets or CSV files. It must also anticipate the evolution of the database and plan for the future records and images that will be added. Please see the attached Peformance Work Statement (PWS) for specifics.
