- This announcement is SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, 36C241-23-Q-0776. This sources sought notice is for preliminary planning purposes therefore, no proposals are being requested or accepted at this time. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACTS SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. The Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) at White River Junction (WRJ) and its Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) have a requirement for medical gases. The gases should be delivered at a minimum twice per week to VAMC WRJ, and on an as-needed basis to the WRJ CBOCs. In addition, VAMC WRJ and its CBOCs need to rent the cylinders which hold the requested gases, listed below. It is difficult to predict the exact amount of each gas needed, and the VA plans to award one blanket purchase agreement (BPA) for a one-year agreement with four option years. Approximate amounts of each gas required per year are provided below. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this notice. Issuance of solicitation will be dependent upon the number of responses, information received, and subsequent market analysis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requested. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the Business Community. After review of the responses to this sources sought announcement a synopsis and/or solicitation announcement may be published at a later time. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. All contractor personnel shall possess the necessary certifications to handle these materials, and delivery drivers shall possess commercial drivers licenses with HAZMAT endorsements. These certifications must verified at the time of proposal, presented at the time of award, and maintained throughout the duration of the contract. The following is a list of required gases to be delivered, with approximate number of cylinders used per year. Please note that those gases listed with a value of zero may still be required. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Please limit your response to this synopsis to less than five pages and please include the following information: Your company s name, addresses, point of contact, phone number, email address & SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) Number. Your company s interest in submitting a proposal on the solicitation when it is issued. Your company s capability to meet the requirements, and which VISN 1 location(s) your company could support. Your company s capability to perform a contract of this type and comparable work performed within the past three years to include a brief description of the requirement, customer s name, phone number and address, period of performance, and dollar value of the contract. Your company s Business Size (Large or Small) and Socioeconomic Status (Veteran Owned, SDVOSB, HUBZONE, 8(a), etc.). Interested companies are asked to respond to this Sources Sought Notice no later than 4:00 PM (EST) on Thursday, 15 June 2023.
