Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation exists at this time. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this project will be released in SAM.Gov in early to mid July 2023. All dates are estimates at this time. This project is a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB). The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, and the annual small business size standard is $19M. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered.  All information for this solicitation will be posted on the SAM.Gov website at SAM.gov | Home. PROJECT TITLE: Remove and Replace Public Address System CONTRACT TYPE: Firm Fixed Price PROJECT SUMMARY: This project is to remove the existing public address system and replace with a new Networked Public Address System that is compliant with VA design manuals, design guides, and specifications. Project is located within the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to remove and install a new public address system in accordance with the project specifications and drawings. This project shall include removing and replacing the existing headend amplifier system located in room BB-263 with a new digital Networked Public Address System. Contractor will be required to remove and replace all components of the existing Public Address System including but not limited to the headend amplifier system & cabinetry in room BB-263, all speakers, components, conductors, conduit, etc. located throughout the facilities. Buildings 1, 3, 15, 16, 18, 19 and 21 are to be included in the new Networked Public Address System. The architectural scope of work will be limited to ICRA and Life Safety maintenance to install the new Public Address System. Project shall be completed within 365 calendar days from notice to proceed. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. All interested firms must be registered in SAM.Gov, the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification system (Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov)) and VETS-4212 - Federal Contractor Reporting system ( VETS-4212 Federal Contractor Reporting | U.S. Department of Labor (dol.gov)).
