Description

Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy) has a requirement for Alongside Aircraft Refueling Services, to include managing and maintaining equipment of fuel facilities at Naval Air Station Patuxent River (NAS Pax River), MD. Services include providing all technical support, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and other items as required by the Performance Work Statement (PWS) on behalf of DLA Energy, in support of the Department of Navy. The vendor shall furnish, manage, maintain, and operate mobile fuel servicing equipment required to support the facilities, equipment, vehicles, and aircraft assigned to and as may transit, deploy to, or exercise at this location. The vendor will also be responsible to provide, maintain, and operate Contractor-Furnished Vehicles in support of aircraft and vehicles assigned or transient to NAS Pax River. This announcement is posted as a notification of the Government�s intent to enter a sole source bridge contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.�� The requirements will be fulfilled using FAR subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and DLAD 16.191 Bridge Contracts. The contract will be subject to FAR 52.222-41, Service Contract Labor Standards. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 493190, and size standard $30 million. The requirement is tentatively for a twelve-month (12) period from Jul 1, 2023 - Jun 30, 2024 � subject to change. If a change occurs to the performance period another notification will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this notice. Capability statements will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This determination will be based upon the responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information provided by industry to the Government is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice. All responses to this notice must be submitted by 12:00 pm Eastern Time (ET), on Jun 14, 2023. Responses are limited to 5 Pages and will be accepted via email only to: alexandro.cano@dla.mil
