- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC), Port Hueneme, California intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) under solicitation number N39430-23-R-0058 for a Single Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The work involved includes performing inspection, assessment, design, and engineering services of government firefighting trainer facilities at various naval installations including, but not limited to Point Loma, CA; Kings Bay, GA; Mayport, FL; Norfolk, VA; and Yokosuka Japan. Market research was conducted in February 2023 and it was determined that there were sufficient small businesses capable of performing the work to allow for a 100% small business set-aside. As part of the market research, a sources sought notice was issued under N39430-23-R-0058. The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330, and the annual size standard is $25,500,000.NAVFAC EXWC anticipates the award of an IDIQ with base ordering period of sixty (60) months, and an extension of services period not to exceed six months. Individual task orders under this contract will be firm fixed price (FFP).The Government intends to issue a task order to obligate the contract minimum guarantee of $10,000 to the selected contractor. This task order to obligate the minimum guarantee will be issued concurrently with the award of the basic contract. The estimated award date is 31 January 2024. This contract will replace the current contract for similar services awarded on 1 August 2018. The maximum value of all task orders placed under this contract will not exceed $6,500,000.00. The predecessor contract is Contract No. N39430-18-D-2018, which was awarded to the incumbent, Reid Middleton, Inc. This will be the only method of distribution; therefore, it is the Offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to receive an award under this procurement.
