Description

This is a preliminary pre-solicitation synopsis. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Randolph Air Force Base, Texas intends to issue a non-personnel service solicitation to provide One (1) Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) employee for Protocol Support Services. Employee will perform a variety of day-to-day functions in support of the Protocol Officer, the Public Affairs Officer and assist the Executive Assistant in support of the Medical Education Training Campus (METC) located at Fort Sam Houston (FSH), Texas. The contractor shall provide the Government the following: One (1) fully qualified and experienced Protocol Specialist employee to perform a variety of day-to-day functions within METC. Employee will assist the Protocol Officer with the planning, coordinating, and implementing a variety of events to include domestic and foreign visits, military and civilian ceremonies, special events, and meetings. The employee shall assist the Public Affairs Officer with the planning, coordinating, and executing of public and media visits, provide photography support for events and visits, and provide support for press releases. The employee shall also assist the Executive Assistant with routine administrative duties in support of METC. Note: Incumbent employee is available for consideration.
