PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, to perform services to apply moglice bearing slide material to machine bodies. This effort is to seek out qualified sources capable of providing services required by the attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW). All interested parties are encouraged to respond.� The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333248.� The Government anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. The Government is interested in receiving responses from all qualified sources capable of providing the services. Large and small companies that have experience with these services are encouraged to respond to this notice by 20 June 2023 at 12:00 PM EST. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for information solicited.� The Government will not return any information submitted, nor will the Government compensate any company who responds to this Notice. Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated. The following key information is requested:� Company name, address, telephone number, CAGE code, DUNS number, point of contact (name, phone# and e-mail). If your company is a small business, please identify the socioeconomic status. Have you performed the same or similar work in the past? Explanation of the company's ability to perform 100% of the efforts required. This statement shall not reiterate or duplicate the language set forth in this notice or language from the attached DRAFT SOW. Your CAPABILITIES STATEMENT shall demonstrate your company�s ability to perform these critical tasks. Additionally, if significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. Interested sources should send requested information in a single Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) email attachment to sheena.l.lassiter.civ@us.navy.mil with a page limitation of 10 pages no later than 20 June 2023 @ 12:00pm EST. SEE DRAFT SOW BELOW STATEMENT OF WORK Location of work:���� Contractor facility. Reference Dwg.��� 03079 Rev A. General Specification:� �Period of Performance: See Delivery Schedule �Contractor Requirements: 4a. Provide services to apply MOGLICE bearing slide material to machine bodies. 4b. 2 each machine bodies IAW Dwg. 03079 Rev A. 4c. Delivery to contractor. Unloading and loading of crated components, upon delivery and completion. Is to be accomplished by the contractor using contractor supplied equipment. Notify Toolmakers POC if any delays or issues arise during process. Work should be accomplished within 30 days of receipt of NNSY material. 4d. The contractor is responsible for shipping items to NNSY upon completion of work in the original crate. 4e. Notify Tool makers with shipping information upon completion of work. Government Responsibility. 5a. NNSY will crate 2 each bodies, 1 each Gear Blank and hardware needed to complete work. 5b. NNSY to notify vendor when material has been shipped.
