- Sources Sought 3U VPX Single Board Computer� THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE is being issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). NSWCPD has a requirement for the purchase of 3U VPX Single Board Computers. Below are the specifications for the specific item needed. It is the Government's intention to award a firm, fixed price Purchase Order, to meet the Government's requirements. NSWCPD intends to issue a solicitation to meet mission requirements. Prior to issuing a solicitation, NSWCPD is requesting information in order to make an informed determination regarding�procurement strategy.� SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES: Responses shall include specific details regarding the ability to provide the required items to meet the needs of the Government. Responses are not to exceed two (2) pages. Responses shall be in electronic format. NSWCPD will accept only electronic unclassified submission of responses. Responses shall be sent to Shawn Waters at shawn.m.waters11.civ@us.navy.mil with the subject line ""RFI N64498-22-Q-5136."" All responses shall be unclassified and submitted no later than 03:00PM EST on 06/28/2022. This RFI is for market research purposes only and does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This RFI Notice is issued solely for conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 and gathering information for planning purposes. The Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this RFI, and the Government will not compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the response to this RFI. The Government will not release any information marked with a proprietary legend received in response to this RFI to any firms, agencies or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. PHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Contractor shall provide the following hardware and software components that meet or exceed the specifications defined below. The single board computers listed below shall be compatible with VPX specifications.� �Qty. 140; 3U VPX Single Board Computer; VPX alignment blocks: Block 1 (top) = 90 degree Block 2 (bottom) = 90 degree CPU: Intel Xeon E-2276ME 9th Gen Coffee Lake Refresh Processor, 6-core @ 2.8 GHz. System Memory: 16 GB of DDR4 SDRAM, 160 GB of NVMe pSLC Solid State Drive (SSD). Supports CentOS Linux programmed into onboard SSD OpenVPX Profile: MOD3-PAY-2F2U-16.2.3-2,3,10, 11 Fabric Mode D, I/O Mode A Rear P1 Connector: 8-lanes configurable PCIe3, 2x 1000Base-T, 1x RS-422, 2x USB 2.0, 1 x SATA, 8x DIO Rear P2 Connector: XMC I/O partially mapped (X23s+X6d+X6s) with 2x DVI/DP, 2x RS232, 1x USB 2.0 w/VBUS Ruggedization: Air Cooled Level 100. 1.0"" Pitch, Lead-Free PWB.
