Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division, intends to negotiate with Fluke Electronics (Entity ID YA5LYT9J7TX5), located in Everett, WA, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source to purchase Four (4) precision multifunction calibrators that can provide voltages from 1 mV to 1000 V from DC to 1 MHz with a compliance current >40 mA.� The Fluke 5730A is fully compatible with the existing measurement control software and interface as proven which replaces the prior four (4) instruments, which must be compatitible with the eight currently in use. See the attached specification for details. The NAICS Code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a small business standard of 1,000 employees. NIST anticipates negotiating and awarding a firm-fixed-price contract to Fluke Electronics for this requirement. Interested parties that can demonstrate they could satisfy the requirement listed above for NIST must clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. If competitive procedures are not used, it is estimated that an award will be issued in the fourth quarter fiscal year 2023. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to ian.robinson@nist.gov. All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted to ian.robinson@nist.gov no later than June 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
