Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Solicitation Number W912EE23B0011 for YAZOO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI YAZOO CITY PUMP STATION TRASH RAKE FC/MR&T, YAZOO BASIN YAZOO RIVER. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment, for constructing of the trash rake machine and access road realignment.� Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, installation of the trash rake machine, trash debris dump trailer, earthwork, stone protection, road paving, storm water pollution prevention, and environmental protection. This IFB will result in the award of one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Construction contract. The set-aside for this procurement is Total Small Business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $45 Million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The estimated period of performance for completion of construction is 240 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The Government intends to award without discussions, but reserves the right to conduct discussion should it be deemed in the Government's best interest. The bids will be evaluated based on lowest price submitted. The official solicitation, plans and specifications will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found on the SAM System for Award Management Web Page at https://www.sam.gov. Hardcopies will not be available. Telephone and Emailed requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. To download the solicitation for this project, contractors are required to register at https://www.sam.gov/. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Amendments, if/when issued, will be posted to the above referenced website for electronic downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore, it is the Offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. Offerors must have and maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov and must include the NAICS code they are bidding under in order to receive a Government contract award. If the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.
