Description

This combined synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, excluding modifications. This requirement is for Furniture Classroom Modernization (See attachment 1 - Specifications for the minimum salient characteristics.) at Sheppard AFB, Texas. The 82d Contracting Squadron of Sheppard AFB, Texas anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. * See attached salient characteristics of the commodity sought in this combined synopsis/solicitation.* Note the folloeing: 1.�Only delivery is needed. We can accept deliveries during normal business hours, 0730-1630 Monday-Friday except for federal holidays and designated AETC family days. 2.�Facility is not outfitted with a loading dock. However, forklifts are on site and personnel are available to unload. 3.�Other than FOB Destination, there are no specific shipping requirements. 4.�All items are required as specified. Specified requirements support increased class activity capabilities as well as student centric learning initiatives such as flipped classrooms and competency based objectives. 5.�Unless otherwise stated in the contract, the delivery address for shipping estimates should be 520 Missile Road, Sheppard AFB TX 76302. **Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date in the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.�ALL QUOTES MUST BE VAILD FOR 90 DAYS FROM CLOSE DATE OF RFQ. *** The applicable NAICS code is�337214�and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement is a total set aside for small business concerns.�The solicitation number is # FA302023Q0020 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). See attached �Combo RFQ� for the RFQ format. All documents, including the solicitation, FA302023Q0020, and all amendments to the solicitation are obtainable via this notice. Contractors are strongly cautioned to check this notice periodically for amendments. The solicitation will close at 2:00 PM CST on June 21,� 2023.
