- Sources Sought Notice Sources Sought Notice Page 3 of 3 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning. Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is being issuing to identify entities that could provide Laboratory Support Services for the Medina Laboratory. Baltimore VA Medical Center, 10 N. Greene St., Baltimore, MD 21201 Description of Work- Laboratory support services performing In situ hybridization (RNAscope) and histology consistency and reproducibility, processing of tissue samples using sterile/asceptic technique, quantitative immunoblotting of proteins of interest, co-immunoprecipitation assays, real-time (RT) PCR for mRNA expression and transcriptome analyses, immunohistochemistry, immunohistochemical characterization of tissue samples, fluorescence microscopy for cell characterization, the fluorometric assay for total collagen and fibrin quantitation. for the VA funded work in the Baltimore VA Medical Center (BVAMC) laboratory. Interested & Capable Responses NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities, and qualifications necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing preventative/corrective maintenance and software updates on equipment for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar healthcare facilities. 3. GSA contract number, if your company has one, that includes line items covering these types of services in the Baltimore, MD geographical area. Responses must be submitted by 12:00 PM (EST) June 20, 2023. Responses to the information requested above must be submitted via email to Jason Tawzer at jason.tawzer@va.gov.
