Description
This is a sources sought notice and is for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This is NOT a request for quotations, proposals, or bids. The Bureau of Reclamation, Region 10 � California Great Basin is seeking interested vendors to provide the following: The Tracy Fish Collecting Facility (TFCF), 6525 Lindemann Rd, Tracy, CA 945391 requires a minimum of one but up to two drivers to transport live fish to fish release sites approximately 20 - 30 miles away in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Estuary, operate other facility equipment such as pumps, gates, valves, hoists, debris removal apparatus, louver cleaners, conveyors, hydraulic devices, dump trucks, and completing ancillary logs and worksheets. Shift coverage shall be either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Services, non-personal: Contractor to provide personnel with a valid �B� Commercial Drives License (CDL) or higher with tanker endorsement and without the �no air brake� restriction. Drivers must hold a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certification. Documentation is to be provided to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) prior to commencement of work. The work is month-to-month from July 2023 through October 2023 and may be extended or have a break in coverage at the discretion of the government. Equipment and vehicles will be provided and maintained by the government. Typical duties include: � Equipment Operation/Debris Removal & Disposal/Fish Truck Transport � Operates associated debris removal equipment such as trash rack monorail cleaner, primary louver cleaner, trash conveyor and hydraulic sweep arm cleaning devices. � Conducts disposal of debris by dump truck transport to onsite spoil field. Conducts transport � Operates 3-axle tanker trucks, 2 and 3-axle dump trucks, front end loaders (2 yard capacity and under) forklifts. � Operates fish tanker truck to deliver fish to fish release sites. This notice is being issued to help determine the availability of qualified businesses technically capable of meeting the Government�s requirement and to determine the method of acquisition, including whether a small business social-economic set-aside is possible. No award will be made as a result of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the respondents to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 484110 and the associated small business size standard is $34.0M. All businesses with the capability and availability to furnish the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are invited to submit a response to this notice. The information requested is: 1. Company name, address, SAM UIE number, and point of contact name and email address; 2. Business size and small business size classification if applicable (e.g. 8(a), HubZone, Veteran Owned, Woman Owned, etc.); 3. Information that would demonstrate that your business has the capability and resources to meet the specifications of the requirement. All responses to this Sources Sought notice shall be submitted electronically (via email) to Joe Molina at joemolina@usbr.gov no later than Friday, June 23, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
